The Respiratory Care Manager, with oversight by and in collaboration with the Respiratory Care Director, provides leadership guidance for respiratory therapy team members in the Respiratory Care Department. This Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the respiratory department ensuring top-quality patient care and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Graduated from an accredited respiratory program with at least an associate degree. Current Oklahoma RCP license. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
NBRC Registered (RRT) credentials required and maintained per NBRC. Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS, PALS, NRP required within 6 months of hire and renewed as necessary to remain certified Supervisory experience preferred
- All functions of a SR RT plus the following Displays positive traits and qualities needed for a successful Manager; has the ability to work with changes in the environment and participate as a team player. Maintains adequate staffing levels and responds to shortage/turnover as required with a minimum impact on services. Manages the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of respiratory care staff Holds team members accountable for a positive work environment and patient care that meets the unit’s quality improvement initiatives. Continuously strives to improve department services and organizational performance. Implements department goals and objectives in order to improve service delivery. Monitors the use and maintenance of respiratory care equipment and orders new equipment and/or supplies as needed.
