You’ll need
Licensure
✓License Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Medical Board.
Certifications
✓Must have current Healthcare providers BLS obtain ACLS, PALS and NRP within 90 days of hire date and current thereafter.
✓Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of AHA for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
Education
✓Associate’s degree graduate for an accredited in Respiratory Care program.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Five years in critical care Respiratory Therapy experience required, one year must be in a lead or supervisory role. 2.
✓Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of healthcare professionals. 3.
✓Must have demonstrated good leadership skills with a commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program, and Code of Conduct, and Service Excellence. 4.
✓Adhere to all policies and procedures.
✓Clinical experience and theoretical/technical competence in all specialized areas serviced by the Cardiopulmonary Department
✓Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The primary function of the Respiratory Therapy Manager is planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Respiratory Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards as well as guidelines and regulations that govern the Community.
