Education
✓2 year / Associate Degree : Associate of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Respiratory Care or its equivalent (Required)
✓4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration Business Administration or related healthcare field (Required)
✓Board of Health regulations, College of American Pathologist regulations, and quality improvement processes.
Master's Degree (preferred)
Qualifications

✓In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
✓Must have a working knowledge of Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Organization regulations, Indiana State
✓knowledgeable of department and hospital financial processes. (Required)
✓3 + years: Minimum three (3) years of respiratory therapy experience in a Level III NICU or higher setting (Required)
✓A functional knowledge of the Respiratory Care Department.
✓Demonstrate skills in team building and leading the team to a shared vision.
✓Develop, implement and manage all resources (human, material and financial) to support patient care needs while meeting the operating margins and financial targets for areas which accountable.
✓Actively involved in organizational structures and systems to influence decision-making regarding patient care services.
✓Collaborate with the Senior Regulatory Analysts and leadership to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
✓Communicate information regarding regulations, policies, procedures, and other necessary information to all personnel utilizing available and appropriate dissemination resources.
3+ years: Supervisory experience is preferred with clinical experience in Critical Care, OB, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Neonatal patient
Self-Awareness: Understands own and others' preferences and is able to adapt behavior according to others' needs. preferred

About the role
The Manager Respiratory Therapy is accountable and responsible for the quality of services and care rendered by the Respiratory Care Staff. NICU Level 3 experience is highly preferred. Effectiveness and efficiency in performing supervisory duties are essential to maintaining this position.
