Builds and leads a regional training analyst team through recruiting, onboarding, and development, fostering trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Identifies and assesses current and future training needs through job and process analyses and consultation with Physician Enterprise leaders and medical group leaders. Defines and communicates best practice workflows and system use for all provider practice team members.
Oversees the implementation of training and education programs within the Physician Enterprise organization. Monitors and evaluates the training and education program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically to develop and recommend ongoing improvements. Assesses training program and instructional effectiveness and summarizes evaluation reports determining the impact of training on team member skills and how it affects KPIs.
Partners with key stakeholders and liaises with subject matter experts regarding training and implementation. Maintains a keen understanding of adult learning, training, and education trends, developments, and best practices. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Extensive knowledge of adult learning styles and training strategy, development, and delivery in support of physician practice operations including adoption of practice management/EHR systems [Required]Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation [Required]Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing traditional and modern training methods and techniques [Required]Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools [Required]Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) [Required]Excellent written and verbal communications skills [Required]Must be able to oversee staff and educate on how to present, teach, write, update, and edit curriculum for all roles that require training [Required]Microsoft Office suite experience with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills [Required]Familiarity with physician practice transformation in the multi-specialty setting, supported by innovative training and education principles [Required]Knowledge in Healthcare Operations, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Practice Operations, Clinical Operations, Nursing Work Flow, Physician Work Flow, Medical Information [Required]Demonstrated leadership or prominent participation in practice management/EHR implementation and/or ongoing support and training programs [Required]Management and leadership experience building and directing small to medium-sized training teams [Required]Effective communication skills with all stakeholders, e.g., executive leadership, physicians, managers, and staff [Required]Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments [Required]Knowledge of/experience with Athena Collector and Athena Clinicals [Preferred]Other EHR implementation and training experience [Preferred]Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA) [Preferred]Expertise in process mapping and process mapping tools [Preferred]Project management experience [Preferred]Education:Bachelor's [Required]Master's [Preferred]Field of Study:Adult education and/or professional discipline such as nursing, pharmacy, or information technologyMS Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, Education or MS NursingWork
