This role will primarily focus on supporting SCRMC’s Marketing and Public Relations efforts in a project management capacity, while also serving in a business development function representing the organization with internal and external providers. Success in this role will include the ability to be detail-oriented, timely in responses, demonstrate a high level of collaboration across the health system as well as with external stakeholders, and present oneself in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Responsibilities Collaboration Work closely with other members of the Marketing team and internal/external audiences who make requests through Marketing. Ability to work closely with South Central Regional Medical Center leadership, Marketing and internal committees to successfully execute events, campaigns and collateral materials (digital and print) that support organizational goals and service line growth. Complete requests submitted in a correct, professionally presented and timely manner.
Work with others in the Marketing team to ensure their assigned tasks are submitted in a correct, professionally presented and timely manner. Coordinate meetings, maintain records, and support operational functions across departments as needed. Web Content Management Ensure the SCRMC website and associated digital content is updated and maintained to confirm accurate, timely and engaging information for patients, providers and the community.
Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and branding across all platforms. Manage the day-to-day operations of the website and digital platforms, ensuring content accuracy, data integrity and a positive user experience. Assist with integrating campaigns across digital platforms and troubleshooting content or technical issues as they arise.
Project Management Be the internal point person for Marketing - gather information about goals and deliverables to then communicate to the team. Be the administrator to Basecamp (project management software) and create/manage projects based on requests and define project scope, goals, deliverables and timeline. Assist in the development of templates, policies and procedures that aid in the efficiency in the usage of Basecamp and management of our projects.
Break down projects and campaigns into actionable tasks and assign them to team members with deadlines. Schedule check-ins and provide feedback and updates for the internal marketing team and audiences we are serving. Media Coordination Coordinate with local print publication representatives to submit ads.
Monitor campaign metrics and provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations for ongoing improvement. Content Creation Assist in the development of creative content ideas and collaborate with Marketing team members to produce collateral materials that resonate with the target audience. Assist in the development of creative content that is aligned with South Central’s brand identity.
Administrative Support Coordinate meetings, maintain records and support departmental operational functions Assist with committee coordination and other duties as assigned Business Development Serve as a liaison between SCRMC and both internal and external providers, making regular in-person visits to discuss new and existing service lines, organizational capabilities and opportunities for enhanced collaboration. Proactively identify and cultivate referral relationships with physicians, specialists and other healthcare providers to support and grow patient volume across service lines.
Address and resolve referral issues in a timely and professional manner, serving as a point of contact for providers experiencing barriers or concerns related to the referral process. Track and report on provider engagement activity, referral trends and service line feedback to inform organizational strategy and marketing efforts. Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to stay current on service line developments, ensuring accurate and effective communication with provider partners.
The scope of the business development component of this role is expected to grow over time. Any expansion of responsibilities or reallocation of time dedicated to this function will be mutually discussed and agreed upon between the employee and the Chief Administrative Officer. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
