Certified Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred
Certifications
Sonography [R.T.(S)(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
Education
✓Other Certificate/Diploma Diagnostic Imaging required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required and Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging preferred
Qualifications
✓Ultrasound Technologist 0-1 year required
✓Comprehensive understanding of computer operations relating to Imaging, Electronic Health Records, Reporting Systems, PACS, and all Hospital Information Systems that integrate with the department, relating to patient information and management.
✓Possesses analytical abilities necessary to effectively utilize advanced knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and anatomy.
✓Exemplifies flexibility and willingness to adapt to the operational needs and presents as a positive representative of the department.
✓Excellent attention to detail, written, and communication skills
✓Use independent judgment and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations.
✓Maintains effective working relations and communication with colleagues and patients.
