Qualifications
✓Ph.D. in optics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
✓Strong research background in biomedical optics, microscopy, or optical engineering.
✓Ability to work independently and with additional training to become an independent researcher.
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated by publication and conference presentation records.
✓Research experience with polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography is a strong plus.
✓Research experience in neuroimaging is preferred, but not required.
✓The appointment is for two years with the possibility of continuation based on annual performance evaluation.
Experience with optical design, simulation, 3D CAD design, and programing language in control, DAQ, and real time data processing is desired. preferred
Strong computational skills, such as signal processing, optimization, or machine learning is a plus. preferred
