You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active TX Nursing licensure required.
Certifications
✓Required certifications must remain current and valid.
✓Active CPR/BLS required.
✓PALS - Certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of employment
✓ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of employment
Education
✓Associates degree in Nursing is required.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrates the ability to function within the required nursing process as defined by the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
✓Demonstrates the ability to support the mission, vision and patient promise throughout all interactions.
✓Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
✓Demonstrates analytical thinking – this role requires analyzing information and using logic to coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
✓Demonstrates the ability to participate as an integral part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing the highest quality of care to the patient.
✓Ability to serve as a preceptor and a mentor by fostering a teaching environment. Position eligible for preceptor premium pay with completion of preceptor education and leader approval.
✓Three (3) years of professional nursing experience is required.
