Medical Assistant - Cardiology

Responsible for assisting providers with patient care, clerical, insurance verification and prior authorizations, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.

Conveys a positive image of organization. All clinical tasks performed by MA II’s must occur under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician (MD, DO, APN, PA) who is physically present in the facility and immediately available.
