You’ll need
Licensure
✓Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent years of experience or Current Licensure with The Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
✓Licensed Vocational Nurse (required)
Certifications
✓Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
✓Basic Life Support (required)
Cert Medical Assistant (preferred)
Education
✓High School Education or equivalent
✓High School (required)
Qualifications
✓Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✓Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employees, management, visitors and outside sources
✓Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current insurance coverage
✓Employment contingent upon successful completion of:

✓Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day)

Experience scheduling surgeries and getting insurance benefits with authorizations preferred

About the role
Medical Assistants and/or Licensed Vocational Nurses perform duties under the supervision of a physician. Interviews patients and prepare them for provider exam and treatment, measures vital signs and records information in EHR system. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
