Medical Assistant MA/CMA - Mercy Family Medicine/Obstetrics

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training. Must have completed all MA CompetenciesCertification: Must actively maintain MA certification. Caregivers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title.

Caregivers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.

Experience: One year of applicable patient care experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
