Medical Assistant/Patient Service Coordinator (Oncology)

✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program or equivalent hospital program (LPN/RN/EMT)
✓OR successful completion of certification examination (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)
✓OR successful completion of certification examination (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) and 1 year of patient care experience
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent is required.
✓High School graduate or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓Medical Assistant / Patient Service Coordinator
✓Locations Supported: Monroeville, West Mifflin, Mercy, & McKeesport
✓Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daylight hours - No evenings, weekends, or holidays are required!
✓This role will float to the locations listed above and will be eligible for float pay and mileage reimbursement.
✓The Medical Assistant / Patient Service Coordinator supports physicians by assisting with patient care and completing clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.
✓Daily responsibilities include taking vital signs, triaging patients, stocking supplies, and cleaning exam rooms.
✓We’re seeking someone who communicates compassionately with patients and families, can multitask in a fast‑paced setting, works well both independently and as part of a team, and brings empathy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to exceptional patient care.
