Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Laboratory

• $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. This is a combined posting for Medical Laboratory and Medical Laboratory Scientist. The position is responsible for laboratory technician bench duties and project duties within the laboratory. Lab Techs perform routine and complex tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunohematology. The position has responsibility for planning, performing and evaluating laboratory testing analysis; leading and directing day-to-day work; supplying inventory; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with physicians, patients, other hospital personnel, professional associations, and other organizations. Under the general direction of the Laboratory Supervisor, the employee performs, evaluates and reports results on specimens received for analysis; solves problems, instructs new employees and students, operates instruments and performs maintenance function checks and troubleshooting. Experience in medical laboratory in a medium to high complexity laboratory Medical Laboratory Scientist Required
