Medical Laboratory Technician I (2nd shift)

Qualifications
✓AA/AS in approved science
✓Understands and can articulate correct procedures to accurately identify patients, label specimens, and verify there is adequate sampling for the testing ordered
✓Proficient use of computer peripherals
✓Clear communicator; speak, read, and write English fluently
✓Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
✓This position has much interaction with nursing staff and other hospital departments
✓Physical Capabilities
✓Medical Laboratory Technicians can expect to stand for long periods of time and walk frequently. This position also requires frequent stooping, sitting, reaching, bending and kneeling. The incumbent may also be required to carry items up to 50 pounds. Near visual and color acuity is required.
