Licensure
✓This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with board-certified Medical Oncologists while providing comprehensive outpatient oncology and hematology care, supporting infusion services, and participating in inpatient oncology consultations as needed.
✓Current Maryland Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) certification and registration with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and national certification in the applicable specialty (ACNP, AGPCNP, FNP).
✓DEA and CDS eligibility.
Certifications
✓Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
✓ACLS required for inpatient responsibilities
Education
✓Master's degree in nursing or science as a Nurse Practitioner.
Qualifications
✓Strong clinical knowledge of oncology and experience with a team-based model of oncology care.
✓Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians and function independently.
2 to 3 years of experience in ambulatory and/or inpatient hematology/oncology practice and oncology infusion. preferred
Experience with oncology research and clinical trials. preferred
