Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent with completed coursework in medical terminology and/or anatomy and physiology and two (2) years experience in an administrative role or in a clinical institution required.
✓Attend all required course work assigned by management
Preferred : Bachelor's degree in the sciences or health related field.
Qualifications
✓Must: (1) Comply with all national and local laws regarding clinical encounter documentation, privacy and security
✓Comply with departmental and health system policies and procedures
✓possess basic knowledge of medical terminology and advanced knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management
✓and (5) be knowledgeable of English grammar & punctuation (6) understanding of medicolegal documentation, medical facility flow, efficiency management, medical terminology, pathophysiology, physical exam findings, evaluation and management billing basics, and ICD-10 documentation requirements.
✓Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in the role of a medical scribe.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
