✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
✓Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.
✓APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law.
✓DHEC and DEA license
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS)
✓DOT Certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
✓Completion of an approved US DOT FMCSA MRCME training program and successful passing of the NRCME certification examination within six months of hire
Qualifications
✓AGPNP/ANP (Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP or Adult NP): Adult pts (13 years to death), stable chronic disease state management or primary care setting.
✓FNP (Family NP): (birth to death) Stable chronic disease state management, primary care across the lifespan.
✓Experience in an occupational health and/or primary care setting
✓Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
✓Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
✓Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
