Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
Required Certification/Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred Patient Care Technician - preferred Required
High School or Equivalent Associate's degree in related field - Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred Required
6 months – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
