Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. $10,000 Sign on Bonus Employees who participate in the 11/12 program receive a 40% premium on their base pay rate for all hours worked between 7:00 pm Friday and 7:30 am Monday. Other hours worked outside of this weekend time-frame are paid at the regular base rate.

PTO and other paid benefit time is also paid at the regular base rate. OverviewPOSITION

The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

QualificationsREQUIRED

- High School Diploma/ GED,- Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.- Must be ARRT eligible Licensure/ Certification: - BLS American Heart Association; ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

2 years radiography experience. 1 year MRI experience. Licensure/ Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
