Under general supervision of the Manager of MRI and under the direction of a Radiologist, can perform diagnostic MRI/MRA on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.
- & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Utilizes all their technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner including the screening of all patients and visitors
- Evaluates MRI scans for technical quality under minimal supervision. Perform these duties using independent judgment and initiative
- Must project an image of professionalism in conduct, appearance, communication and team work. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process of the department.
- Participates in hospital wide compliance assessments
- Will be required to take call and rotate to both MRI sites

Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Upholds standards set by the ARRT regarding diagnostic procedures and professional ethics. Licensure, Certification & Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Bachelor of Science Degree in Advanced Level Certification in MRI Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience in MRI setting preferred Must have excellent communication skills Must maintain a professional manner and appearance Must be able to work independently as well as in a team Must be self-motivated and have ability to work in a healthcare setting Must have basic computer skills Must have basic skills and knowledge necessary to perform venip
