✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Must be a licensed Radiology Tech in Maryland with AART certification.
Certifications
✓Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT program or accredited ARDMS or ARMRIT program.
✓Must be a Radiology Tech in Maryland with AART certification.
✓Must obtain MR registry within 18 months of hire date.
✓CPR or BLS Required.
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

The MRI Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision. They competently perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for diagnostic purposes.
