You’ll need
Licensure
✓If working in a NY facility, you must have received certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department of Health.
Certifications
✓Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT or ARDMS program.
✓ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
✓MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire if primary registry is already obtained.
✓CNMT, ARDMS and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.
✓CPR or BLS Required.
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
✓ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
Qualifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
