More about our team Our Medical-Surgical Unit delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse population, including vascular, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, chemotherapy, and GIP hospice patients. This dynamic unit provides exposure to a wide range of medical conditions and treatments, offering staff the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills while working collaboratively to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
How you'll contribute A Multiskilled Technician who excels in this role: Patient Care Responsibilities Perform basic patient care activities as delegated, including: Monitoring and recording vital signs Obtaining blood glucose measurements Tracking and documenting patient intake and output Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Grooming Feeding and meal assistance Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing team promptly.
Administrative & Support Duties Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked patient rooms and care areas. Perform clerical and administrative duties in support of nursing station operations. Accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Additional requirements include: Current BLS certification required Handle with Care preferred Requires Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems; effective English communication (read/write/speak); ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
