Job Overview: The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program or on-the-job training required Neuroanatomy course a plus BLS Certification through American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience Scheduling

Day Shift Per Diem Scheduling Must be able to take on-call shifts

Responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures: EEG recording and advanced testing procedures Ability to be on-call for EEG and LTM patients Able to do all inpatient, outpatient and portable EEG testing Able to hook up/clean up and take call for Long Term Video Monitoring testing Selects predetermined electrode combinations as necessary by the history of each individual patient Applies suitable electrodes as needed per study utilizing the 10/20 International Electrode Placement System Choosing RWJBarnabas Health!
