✓American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
It is preferred to have 2 registries from ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist) in any of the following: Registered Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist, Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Certified Long
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) is required.
Qualifications
✓Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Autonomics, Long Term Monitoring, Evoked Potentials or Magnetoencephalography.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience is preferred. Ability to perform Electroencephalography (EEG), in addition to 2 or more of the following Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Autonomics, Long Term Monitoring, Evoked Potentials and Magnetoencephalography
In lieu of education a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician is preferred with the proven ability to perform Electroencephalography (EEG), in addition to 2 or more of the following
