Nuclear Medicine Technologist

✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Applicable state license, required.
Certifications
✓Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
✓Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB – RT(N) or CNMT, required.
Education
Education : 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, required
✓Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
✓good communication skills
✓capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms
✓working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served
✓has ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
