Sun/Mon/Tues 7:00am-7:30pm Novant Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms. This role works independently and with physicians/APCs to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service — in every dimension, every time.

What You’ll DoPrepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures. Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile exams. Assist licensed practitioners with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini C-arms, post-reductions).

Perform mobile imaging, including lines, pacers, and neonatal imaging. Ensure proper operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Monitor equipment performance and arrange for maintenance as needed.

Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self. Comply with all federal and state radiation safety laws and proper use of monitoring devices. Contribute to a safe patient environment guided by the principle of “First Do No Harm.”Education & ExperienceGraduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (required).

Certification required within 6 months of graduation from an accredited Radiology Program (required). Associate degree in Radiography (preferred). Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience (preferred).

Licensure & CertificationsARRT certification in Radiography – RT(R) (required). Applicable state licensure (required). Post-graduates must pass ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program (required).

What We're Looking ForEducation: Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program, required.2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.

Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred. Licensure/Certification:ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required. Applicable state licensure as required, required.

Post-graduates from an accredited Radiology Program with be required to pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program, required. Additional Skills (required):Possesses the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities. Applies principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others.

Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws. Properly utilizes personnel monitoring devices. Ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs.

Properly operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Assists a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures including the following: ERCP’s, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions.
