Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) required – will obtain during hospital orientation.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting required.
✓Current enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology or nuclear medicine may be considered in lieu of experience.
✓Maintains compliance in RQI required.
✓Knowledge of basic patient care principles and patient safety practices.
✓Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, providers, and healthcare team members.
✓Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
✓Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.

About the role

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Nuclear Medicine Technology Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, clinical support, and patient care assistance to the Nuclear Medicine department to promote efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
