Role Overview As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your contributions will directly support the RN in delivering exceptional patient care, responding to emergent situations, and fostering a healing environment. Perform specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs. Provide input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care. Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

E. D. equivalent. Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
CNA certification preferred.
