Licensure
✓Registered, certified or licensed as required by state law for the profession.
✓Registered Nurse (RN)
✓Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
✓Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
Certifications
✓Attends, participates and maintains certification in Dyadic Assessment of Naturalistic Caregiver Experience Training (DANCE).
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Education
BSN preferred.2 years' experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting, mental/behavioral nursing, or relevant experience.
Qualifications
✓Maintains Agency-specific and NFP clinical competencies.
✓Follows nursing process in implementing NFP into nursing practice.
✓Ongoing assessment of physical, emotional, social and environmental strengths and challenges of women and their families as they relate to the NFP domains from prenatal period until the child's second birthday.
✓Consults and collaborates with other professionals involved in providing services to women and families.
