✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland within 90 days of graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current BCLS certification.
Certifications
✓Successful completion of required nursing, hospital and unit orientation including but not limited to BCLS certification.
✓The Nursing Graduate will be required to use the initials “NG” after their name as their credentials.
Education
✓To qualify for the position, the candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
✓The Nursing Graduate will remain in this position for no more than 90 days from the date of graduation of a accredited school of nursing.
Qualifications
✓Candidate must pass the NCLEX examination within 90 days of graduation.
✓Demonstrated ability to accurately collect data
✓Ability to establish facts regarding patient/family condition
✓Ability to identify problems
✓Ability to prioritize the needs of the patient and family
✓Ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents is required.
