MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We strive to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Clive offers a blend of urban convenience and peaceful suburban living, with attractions like the Greenbelt Park and trail system, the Clive Aquatic Center, and various community events How you’ll contribute The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.
Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit. Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies. Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports. Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs. Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
BSN Preferred. Active Iowa RN license (single-state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred. CRRN Certification preferred.
Minimum of two years of previous nursing leadership preferred. Minimum of two years previous rehab nursing experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
