You’ll need
Licensure
✓One of the following current licensures in the State of Rhode Island:
✓Current license as a physician assistant in the State of Rhode Island is required.
Certifications
✓Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
✓Must be certified by NCCPA.
✓Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Education
✓Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree from an accredited advanced practice program
✓Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree and a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
✓Knowledge of internal medicine, generalist and family practice procedures required.
✓Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
✓Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously deal with patients and families, clients, coworkers, clinical staff and physicians.
✓Progressive thinking for budget, training and quality issues.
✓Strong leadership qualities.
✓One year of related experience required, two years preferred.
