NURSING STUDENT/APPRENTICE - DESERT VIEW HOSPITAL (PER DIEM)

Responsibilities Desert View Hospital Located in Pahrump, NV, Desert View Hospital is a critial access hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Nye County for over ten years and offers a range of dedicated services, inlcuding emergency care, physical therapy, wound care, radiology, surgery, a 24-hour laboratory and cardiopulmonary care.

Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Qualifications Job

Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.

• None required, but preferred License: Current BLS Certification from the AHA Other: Nurse Apprentice must provide most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the department.
