Occupational Therapist - Adult Inpatient Acute Care Rehab As an adult Occupational Therapist at NYP, you will provide high-quality care while communicating with physicians, referring providers, multidisciplinary staff, and administrative personnel. We offer one-on-one therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality treatment programs to help patients reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within their capabilities.
This is a Sunday-Thursday position with weekends and holiday commitments. This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. * *Weekends and Holiday commitments will involve working in the Adult inpatient settings. ** Preferred Criteria: Master’s degree in occupational therapy National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Required Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy New York State Occupational Therapy licensure Knowledge of Occupational Therapy practices Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required.
