✓Active Tennessee Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license or license eligibility
✓To ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care, this position requires a minimum of one year of independent pediatric occupational therapy practice following graduation and licensure.
Certifications
Specialized pediatric training or certifications such as: preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum one year of post-licensure pediatric occupational therapy experience
✓Experience independently evaluating and treating pediatric patients with developmental, sensory, neuromuscular, and/or upper extremity conditions
✓Pediatric fieldwork, student placements, capstone experiences, and observation hours alone do not satisfy this requirement.
Pediatric outpatient occupational therapy experience preferred
Experience working within EMR systems (Epic preferred)
Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT) preferred
Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) preferred
Early Intervention preferred
Feeding therapy preferred
Handwriting or fine motor specialty training preferred
Upper extremity rehabilitation experience preferred
