Oncology Surgical APP - Genitourinary

Novant Health Cancer Institute Elizabeth is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider in our Charlotte market to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will assist in robotic, open and laparoscopic surgical cases for GU Oncology, additional support in peri-operative period and some clinic duties.

The APP will be paired primarily to work with one full-time MD and a part-time MD who will also serve as the supervising physicians. Responsibilities will vary depending on surgical and clinic caseloads of the physicians but are approximately 50% surgical assist and 50 % inpatient rounding, prepping admissions & discharges, nursing triage, assisting in clinic, chart review, surgical preparatory work and other duties surrounding patient care as needed.

Masters, required.

Prior Genitourinary experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in North Carolina, State BON/Med Board, current DEA registration, BLS; required. RNFA required for NP candidates.

Additional Skills Required: Ability to complete generic or department specific competencies. Ability to work with management teams and physicians. Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
