Operating Room Registered Nurse

40 hours (FT), 06:30A-15:00 (3P), M-F (five 8 hour shifts). Some call requirements/ weekend call/ holiday call required. This will be discussed more during interview.

Department : Operating Room (OR) Location : Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville, North Carolina. Unit Info: 4 Operating Rooms and 2 procedure rooms, procedures range. Primarily circulating, potential to cross train to scrub.

Previous OR experience strongly preferred.

Prepare operating rooms by ensuring availability and functionality of surgical instruments, supplies, implants, medications, and equipment. Assist with room setup and maintain sterile fields according to established surgical and infection control standards. Function in circulator role during surgical procedures Anticipate surgeon, anesthesia provider, and surgical team needs throughout procedures.

What We're Looking For

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
