Position Details: Location: St Anthonys Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes Position Description: OR Care Technician I The OR Care Technician I is a member of the health care team who performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN.
Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and sterilizers. Minimum
- Required: 1-year experience in patient care
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Preferred
• Specialized education in PCT, LPN, EMT, MA, or CNA Specific
