You’ll need
Education
✓High school graduate or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Broad knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of terminology involved in surgical procedures and equipment.
✓Ability to operate office equipment.
✓At least 1 year of experience as a Unit Secretary or Scheduling Secretary from a physician’s office. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
Two (2) year of surgical scheduling. preferred
