About the Job MedStar Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Spine Surgery team and work closely with Dr. David A. Weiner, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon.
This full-time opportunity is located in the desirable Washington, D. C. metropolitan area , based primarily in Brandywine, MD, with additional patient care at our Lorton, VA office. Both locations offer the appeal of suburban communities with convenient access to the amenities of the nation's capital.
The Advanced Practice Provider will provide both outpatient clinic care and first-assist support in the operating room. Position Overview Full-time, Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts No weekends, nights, or holidays Primary location: Brandywine, MD Additional clinic coverage in Lorton, VA Work directly with an experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and manage new patients Evaluate established and post-operative patients Conduct independent clinic visits Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care Provide follow-up care for spine patients Surgical Responsibilities First assist in orthopedic spine surgery Work closely with Dr.
