✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required .
✓Proactively maintain and renew ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.
Certifications
✓Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
✓Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
✓Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Education
✓Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Qualifications
✓2+ years of modality specific work experience. Must be skilled in routine scans (Neuro, MSK, Chest/Abdomen), arterial/venous delayed scans, and port access/de-access.
✓Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
✓Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
✓Computer literacy.
✓Ability to work overtime as required.
✓Ability to learn and use new processes, tools, and equipment as required.

About the role

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to site supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.
