Outpatient Services Coordinator

Healthcare Administration
✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Must successfully complete Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification and an Oceans approved behavioral health de-escalation program.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, business administration, or related field preferred.
Qualifications
✓Strong verbal and written skills.
✓Must be well organized, flexible, and responsible.
✓Must be able to communicate knowledge in an educational arena.
✓Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
✓Must be able to work tactfully and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customers.
✓Demonstrates age specific and cultural sensitivity towards internal and external customers.
✓Demonstrates working knowledge of the organization’s departmental procedures.
Minimum of 1–2 years of office-based administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or outpatient clinic setting. preferred
Knowledge of healthcare operations, insurance verification, or medical terminology preferred.
