You’ll need
Licensure
✓Depending on state requirements, individuals may need to have a state license.
✓Paramedic (PAR) Certification, National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) Incident Command System
Certifications
✓This position requires critical care endorsement certification within specified timeline.
✓Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must hold national registry status at a Paramedic level.
✓Current Basic Life Support
✓(BLS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent, advanced version for paramedics, International Trauma Life
✓Support (ITLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) preferred depending on location.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates Degree in Paramedic Technology or Paramedicine preferred.
Qualifications
✓A minimum of two years of experience as a paramedic in an Ambulance setting. Must have a thorough knowledge of paramedic principles, practices and techniques, knowledge of how various equipment such as a monitor or defibrillator work and how to troubleshoot problems that may arise.
✓Additional licensures as required depending
✓upon state
✓(ICS)100, 200, and 700 completed and continued education hour's as mandated by accreditation.
✓attended as per policy.
✓Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record.
Additional training provided/workshops and staff meetings are to be preferred
