Here’s What You Need H. S. Diploma or Equivalent Required 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required 1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Upon Hire Required Or LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required Skills Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

Actively participates in the Shared Governance model at unit, entity, and/or system level; actively engages in finding solutions for unit, division and/or entity concerns or issues; uses multiple available tools to stay informed of changes, updates and communications; demonstrates the ability to respectfully listen to others' opinions; Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe individualized care.
