Licensure
✓Active Paramedic license/certification in the State of Wisconsin and Michigan or will obtain dual license within 120 days of hire.
Current Paramedic National Registry license is preferred.
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification.
✓ACLS certification.
✓Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training.
✓EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS (EMT) - PARAMEDIC
✓CPR or BLS
✓ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT
Education
✓Knowledge of emergency patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
Qualifications
✓Possesses a valid Driver’s license in the state of residency.

✓MICHIGAN PARAMEDIC
✓PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS)
Preferred a minimum of 1 year (2080 hours) current field experience in 911 or ED.

About the role

Paramedic is responsible for providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages. Care is provided in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports by understanding and applying the specialized principles and techniques of transport paramedic practice, emergency procedures and diagnostics.
