Licensure
✓Required - Licensed in the state of practice as an EMT/Paramedic, Registered with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an EMT/Paramedic, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric
Education
✓Required - High school diploma or equivalent
✓Graduation from an approved EMT/Paramedic Program
Qualifications
✓Current Driver’s License Class D in state of practice, Completion of Defensive Driving Course within 30 days of hire, and Completion of Haz-Mat Awareness Training.
✓Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
✓Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
✓Strong interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to and experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
✓Ability to and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
✓Ability to adapt to change in a positive manner.
Preferred – Two years of 911 experience as a Registered Paramedic.
