You’ll need
Certifications
✓PA(ASCP) - Must be attained within one year of start date.
Education
✓Graduate of a Masters Level approved Pathologists' Assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical practices, and human anatomy. Focused attention to detail, communication skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, accountability. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span.

About the role
The Pathologist Assistant assists pathologists in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection and performance of human postmortem examinations. Assists with and/or performs gross dictation of complex surgical specimens. As directed by supervising pathologist(s), manager, or administrator, may assume other responsibilities including work flow management, research, and/or teaching duties.
