HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their East Florida Division is seeking a Pathology Medical Director to be based at a busy 423-bed hospital in a prime location within the heart of Miami, FL. Qualified Candidates: AP/CP Board Certification required 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred Recent experience performing frozen sections Recent general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations Florida licensed or FCVS in place preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Pathology Volumes/Cases: The practice consists of three pathologists Case volumes: 10,000 cases per year inclusive of surgicals, cytologies and bone marrows No gyn-cytology or autopsy coverage Oversight of the labs within the Free-standing Emergency Departments associated with the hospital Incentive/Benefits Package: Excellent compensation package including annual profit-sharing bonus Generous sign-on bonus Excellent benefits package including CME allowance, health and 401k Relocation assistance provided Malpractice insurance provided Florida has no state income tax About HCA Healthcare Pathology Services: HCA Healthcare Pathology Services consists of over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients.
