About the role

Under minimal supervision, the Emergency Department Patient Access Specialist collects and verifies comprehensive demographic and insurance information to ensure timely, accurate registration and billing for patients presenting through the Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, the OBED or via direct admission.
